Our Investment Thesis

We target early-stage startups, led by ambitious & passionate entrepreneurs solving tangible problems

Looking for early stage FinTech, WealthTech, EdTech, and InsurTech companies, where we can leverage industry expertise & network. Also keen on SaaS and consumer internet, open to other sectors when there’s a compelling scaling opportunity.

We don’t target investments where we would be dumb money. Ideally having us on your cap-table will be useful via strategic advice, industry connections, or some constructive challenge. That said we’re also happy to be quiet.

We’re not interested convertible notes without an MVP. There usually isn’t the need to take development risk for a small value pick up

We are fine being along for the ride not driving, investing alongside other smart angels or early stage VCs is our sweetspot.

We are fortunate to be patient while waiting for, and assessing, opportunities, but we like to see progress and receive investment updates. Compromising on due diligence only works in the movies.

We are geographically neutral, but give preference to those who have SEIS and EIS where possible.
